Quote du jour - Lucy Maud Montgomery

I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June.

  1. I'd settle for May... June can be a little warm for my taste... I'm a 60 - 65f sort of a person. :-)

  2. Hmmm...well, I like some Junes and some not so much. Depends on the temperatures here. However, summer is not my favorite season for comfort in Texas. And June is usually very, very humid. Sticky even. That being said, at least it's not cold. :-)

  3. June where she lived must be lovely! I never thought we'd have the AC off on the 2nd of June but we do and I love it, even the dreary day as there will be many sunny ones ahead of us this summer.

    1. It is lovely here, too. We don't even have any AC. :<)

  4. Last summer hiking with a friend, she would exclaim how she loves the smell of June!! I hadn't stopped to notice. This year our May and June seem to have exchanged places!

    1. That's sure the truth! I heard our May was the hottest on record. And now we've been in the 40s the first two nights of June. We had so little rain in May - it was scary. Brushfires in the state. Now we've had blessed rain for days, and all is green again.

  5. That is a wondrous quote, Nan, and I'm imagining that June was just that nice on Prince Edward Island in her place in time.

  6. I think for me it would be early autumn when the leaves are just turning and there's cool, comfortable weather for long walks. The middle of spring is also a good time.
